Playwriting Workshop with Julie Retzlaff

Playwriting Workshop with Julie Retzlaff In-Person

Julie Retzlaff's playwriting workshop is an opportunity for writers and creative people to come together and develop new work. In this series, we will focus primarily on character work and strengthening dialogue. You’ll have a chance to read works allowed and to workshop scenes in a collaborative circle.

Whether you’re interested in writing a full-length play, a one-act, or developing dialogue for other creative projects, this is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills.

No previous playwriting experience is required. If you’re already writing, please feel free to bring your project in.

This workshop series meets for four sessions: Tuesdays May 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th, 3:00 – 5:00 PM.

Registration is required, and sign-up is for the whole series. Please use the registration button below.

This program is made possible by funding from the Friends of the Scoville Library and library patrons like you!
