Writing Circle In-Person
Using prompts as a springboard, this workshop invites you to write freely, read your work aloud, hear responses, and respond to others’ writing. We will approach writing as a form of discovery and expression, a way to imagine, invent, remember, understand, explore, and experiment. Responses focus on what works in a piece of writing, giving attention to all aspects of craft and language. If you write or wish to write, this workshop is for you.
Workshop leader Karen Vrotsos taught writing and literature at Columbia College and Barnard College for over 20 years and has led a variety of writing workshops for all ages.
