Poetry Workshop with Sally Van Doren In-Person
Sally Van Doren designs her workshops to be an immersive experience of writing, reading, and listening. An inspiring poem and well-chosen prompts set the stage to unlock the imagination and generate unexpected new work. Thoughtful and supportive group discussions help define and further enhance these spontaneous expressions. While there is a focus on poetic concision, those wishing to write in any genre are welcome. No previous poetry-writing experience is needed.
Sally Van Doren is an accomplished poet, artist, and teacher and the author of four books, most recently Sibilance, which features one of her asemic drawings on the cover.
