Summer Reading Program Finale with The White Memorial Conservation Center, Ice Cream and the Salisbury Band In-Person
The eight week long summer reading program will come to a close on this day, and we'd like to celebrate with you.
Join us for The Wildlife Outside Our Windows biodiversity tour with the White Memorial Conservation Center. We'll not need to travel any further than our local natural area to find some amazing biodiversity. Did you know we have over 20,000 animal species in CT? White Memorial will guide us through the menageries of animals we have right here in our state, from marvelous mammals to resplendent reptiles to beautiful birds. The highlight is getting to meet a few live CT creatures up close!
We'll then enjoy some delicious ice cream, award the summer reading program winners who will have completed ALL the summer's reading log and challenges, and then kick back on the library lawn to watch and listen to the Salisbury Band. You won't want to miss this finale!
