The Playwriting Collaborative -- which sprung from our Spring 2025 Playwriting Workshop led by Julie Retzlaff -- is a self-led group that offers writers and creative people an opportunity to come together and develop their skills at writing dialogue and developing characters, read their own and others' writing aloud and workshop scenes in a supportive circle.

The Collaborative meets weekly on Tuesdays, 3:00 - 4:45 PM, through July 15th, 2025. If you register, you will automatically be enrolled for the whole series.

Whether you’re interested in writing a full-length play, a one-act, or developing dialogue for other projects, this is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills and try out your works in progress.

No previous experience is required. If you’re already writing, please feel free to bring your project in on the first day you participate. (Please bring at least as many copies as there are speaking parts.)
